<sub>Not too long before this date, Korea was ruled by the Japanese empire. During WWII, the North was liberated from Japan by the Soviet Union once it was able to enter the battle against Japan. Whereas, the South, below the 38th parallel, was taken over by the United States after Japan's surrender.

To uphold the government in the south, a man named Syngman Rhee, an anti-communist, was put into power.
As for the North, the position of leader went to Kim Il-Sung, who had fair relations with the Soviet Union, thus bringing up a Communist government.

WELL, controlling only half of Korea wasn't good enough, so each leader wanted to take over the other half to reunite the country with their own respective governments. And so, on June 25, 1950 the Korean Civil War begins! 8O

However... not only that, it is also a proxy war, which is pretty much a chess game in that the Koreas are the pawns in a match between the United States and the Soviet Union.</sub>

Ughhh, why did this take so longggggg. ;__;

Actually, this will be my last page in a while LOL. I've got commissions to do!
And naaaaahh I'm not quitting on it. _yet.
